{LS} Site Winddown

 For anyone who might happen upon this blog (and it's linked to from our other site pages...), I'm working on winding down {LS} stuff.

The idea isn't to disband or anything. We just don't need what we're using. The site is very inactive (I've spent a lot more time fiddle-faddling on there than anyone else has viewing or posting, etc.).

I have no desire to stop playing Tribes. I still love this game, and I know those who have kept in contact with me do, too. Still, I have five servers up and running. It's probably unlikely more than one or two get any activity in a given week. So, I think I can find other things to do with the spare server resources.

Still, and I'm sure {LS}LongShot* agrees with me when I say this, the team is always open to former members, including anyone who might wish to take the team forward into other games, etc. All that I hope is that you'll keep the team connected as it has always been.

Reach out via the forums or Discord chat if you wish to speak to me. I check all of them frequently.

Tribes 1.41 Client Downloads

The various Tribes 1.41 clients that were linked to from the PlayT1.com website have become dead, and the site now just links to a download of the retro 1.41 config. However, you can still grab all of the configs that were hosted there, as well as the Tribes 1.41 Original config that Plasmatic used to host from his now defunct Tribes0.com website at our website here . Additionally, and for those interested but may not know, we also host several vanilla Tribes 1.11 configs and a modified Tribes 1.41 meant for server hosting that I put together a year or so ago. We will always host these configs for as long as we have our website up, which should be for at least as long as there is a community-hosted master server for Tribes. So, grab one and join the game.
